TVSN is Australia’s only home shopping channel. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, TVSN reaches over 1.5 million homes in Australia and is carried on Pay-TV networks Foxtel, Optus, Austar, and Prime TV.
We produce around 220 hours of live programming each month, with shows featuring specific categories of merchandise including Jewellery, Health, Beauty, Fashion, Kitchen and Homewares.
We are looking for an experienced Presentation Coordinator (Casual) to join our friendly on-air team in a brand new state-of-the-art transmission facility located in Frenchs Forest.
Reporting to both the Presentation Manager and the Production Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include maintaining & monitoring all live transmission requirements and inserting scheduled program breaks.
You will have experience in fault-free automated programme play-out, preparation of automation play-lists, ingestion of media for transmission and the investigation and trouble-shooting of on-air faults and you must be able to recognise acceptable broadcast technical standards.
You will be required to work on a rotating roster. Our new multi-channel facility transmits 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Experience with scheduling and on-air presentation systems similar to Louth, Miranda, Etere or Sundance type systems would be an advantage.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Transmission systemsKnowledge of Video Tape Machines i.e. Digital Betacam, SP Betacam
PC skills - Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Ability to work to deadlines and cope effectively under pressure
